Softball Recap: Lovett Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lovett can now relate to. They lost 16-4 to the Providence Christian Academy Storm on Wednesday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Lovett's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Providence Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Lovett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will face off against Holy Innocents Episcopal at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
