Soccer Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Allen

While Allen's victory against Plano East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Allen have won by just one goal.

The victory made it two in a row for Allen and bumps their season record up to 13-2-1. As for Plano East, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 8-3-2 record.

Allen and Plano East should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles (ranked eighth) will meet Rock Hill (ranked 305th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Plano East will take on Princeton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (13 vs. 199).
