Soccer Game Preview: San Pedro vs. Venice

The San Pedro Pirates will head out to face off against the Venice Gondoliers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in San Pedro's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four matchups.

San Pedro had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Serrano on Saturday. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Diamondbacks. San Pedro's winning goal came courtesy of Leia Alba.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Venice was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Windward. Venice have struggled against Windward recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

San Pedro now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Venice, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1-1.
