Basketball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview was the 48-44 winner over Independence when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Ridgeview Wolf Pack fell 39-32 to the Independence Falcons on Thursday. The Wolf Pack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenadi Walton out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Walton is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Harrold, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Ridgeview now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Independence, their record now sits at 11-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Highland the next time they take the court. Independence will head out to face Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Ridgeview will host them at 6:30 p.m. on February 11th.
