Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Cobb). They breezed past the Walton Raiders to the tune of 41-7 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.

North Cobb's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zach Belyeu led the charge by rushing for 151 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries, while also picking up 47 receiving yards and one TD. Those 151 rushing yards gave Belyeu a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Teddy Jarrard, who threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Cobb was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 254 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

North Cobb didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Trey Shaw and Aziz Helm.

North Cobb now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Walton, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-3.
