Baseball Recap: Delphi Community Comes Up Short

Delphi Community lost to Rossville last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Oracles fell 7-4 to the Hornets. The Oracles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brett Huffman made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Delphi Community's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Rossville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Delphi Community and Rossville are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Oracles will face off against Benton Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rossville, they will take on Bethesda Christian at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.
