Basketball Recap: Bethel Christian Piles Up the Points Against Crossroads Christian

Bethel Christian won the last time they faced Crossroads Christian and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bethel Christian Kings really took it to the Crossroads Christian Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-12 win. The Kings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Bethel Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leah Lopez out in front who posted 16 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. Lopez is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Havlicheck, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Bethel Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. As for Crossroads Christian, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-3.
