Softball Game Preview: Tekamah-Herman Tigers vs. Highway 91

The Tekamah-Herman Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against Highway 91 at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pierce hit Tekamah-Herman with a 12-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers came up short against the Bluejays, falling 15-3.

Meanwhile, Highway 91 was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to Central City.

Tekamah-Herman's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Highway 91, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-21.

Tekamah-Herman took their win against Highway 91 in their previous matchup on Saturday by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
