Softball Recap: Eagle's Landing Comes Up Short

Eagle's Landing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Locust Grove Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-7 back in August.

Eagle's Landing's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Locust Grove, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Eagle's Landing is set to take on their familiar foe Union Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Locust Grove will face off against rival Woodland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
