Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington fell victim to Newark Memorial and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to the Newark Memorial Cougars. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington now has a losing record at 5-6-1. As for Newark Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will square off against Irvington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington is facing Irvington at the right time seeing as Irvington is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Newark Memorial, they will face off against Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
