With a playoff win on the line, Summit Shasta rose to the challenge on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-43 win over the St. Francis Sharks. The Black Bears are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Summit Shasta's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for St. Francis, they moved to 22-3 with that defeat, which also ended their 14-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Summit Shasta will square off against Castilleja at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Castilleja will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Summit Shasta surely won't give up without a fight. St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
