Southwest Georgia STEM Charter gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Early County Bobcats with a sharp 18-2 victory. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

This is the second loss in a row for Early County and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest Georgia STEM Charter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Deerfield-Windsor at 4:00 p.m. on September 8. As for Early County, they will square off against Pataula Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
