Mount Vernon can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand The Weber School Rams a 1-0 shutout. The one-run effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mount Vernon now has a winning record of 6-5. As for The Weber School, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
