Recap: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Taylor Titans
The Delphi Community Oracles won the last time they faced the Taylor Titans, and things went their way on Monday too. Delphi Community blew past Taylor 57-19 at home. Given Delphi Community's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while Taylor is ranked 374th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jenna Roth continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Delphi Community's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lacey Pickering, who scored three points along with six assists and six rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Delphi Community and bumps their season record up to 9-5. As for Taylor, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Delphi Community won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pioneer at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Taylor is on the road again on Thursday and play against Frankfort at 6:00 p.m. on December 21st. Frankfort is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
