Soccer Game Preview: Marina vs. Stevenson

The Marina Mariners will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Stevenson Pirates at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Marina lost 9-2 to North Monterey County on Monday. The Mariners haven't had much luck with the Condors recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Stevenson kept a clean sheet against Cloverdale on Saturday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Emma Travis and Macey Torres scored both of Stevenson's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Marina's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Stevenson, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.
