Recap: Panther Valley Panthers vs. Notre Dame Spartans
The Panther Valley Panthers won the last time they faced the Notre Dame Spartans, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Panther Valley blew past Notre Dame, posting a 79-12 victory on the road.
Leading Panther Valley to victory were Maddison Maynard and Morgan Orsulak. Maynard scored 13 points along with 7 steals and 6 assists, while Orsulak scored 19 points along with 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Caroline Breslin, who scored 10 points along with 5 steals.
The victory got Panther Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Notre Dame, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Panther Valley will head out on the road to face off against Jim Thorpe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salisbury Township at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
