The Harvester Christian Academy Hawks will face off against the Cherokee Christian Warriors on Thursday. Harvester Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
Harvester Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Atlanta Jewish Academy by a score of 4-1. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Jaguar recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Ryland Nichols made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Nichols was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI.

They walked away with a 13-9 win over Cornerstone Prep Academy. The Warriors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Like Harvester Christian Academy, Cherokee Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Alex Hayes. He tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Hayes was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gabe Mccure, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Will McCure was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
Cherokee Christian pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Harvester Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
