Northridge is a perfect 5-0 against Timnath since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Grizzlies will welcome the Cubs at 4:00 p.m. Northridge will be strutting in after a victory while Timnath will be coming in after a defeat.
On Wednesday, Northridge made easy work of Greeley Central and carried off a 20-2 win. Considering the Grizzlies have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Naomi Propes made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in September of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Bo Tellez was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Noelle Rodriguez, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs.
Northridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .742. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Timnath was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Severance, falling 18-0.
Northridge's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for Timnath, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-1.
