Basketball Recap: Forest City Comes Up Short

Forest City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 37-26 to the Lackawanna Trail Lions. The Foresters lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in February of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 47-14 score last time.

Forest City's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Lackawanna Trail, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Forest City has already played their next matchup (against Elk Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lackawanna Trail has already played their next game, a 37-33 defeat against Carbondale Area on the 23rd.
