Foothill scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burbank Titans. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Foothill still got an impressive performance from Maryssa Arnold, who posted 13 points. Those 13 points gave Arnold a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joyce Runner, who earned ten points.

Burbank got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aniyah Bufford out in front who dropped a double-double with ten points and 21 rebounds. Bufford is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season. Daejahmonni Tagger was another key player, putting up 22 points and four steals.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Burbank, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Foothill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-33 loss against Johnson on the 7th. As for Burbank, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-26 defeat against Fairfield on the 7th.
