Soccer Recap: Woodcrest Christian Takes a Loss

Woodcrest Christian lost against Linfield Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Woodcrest Christian Royals fell just short of the Linfield Christian Lions by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 701st, while the Lions are ranked 343rd).

Woodcrest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-2. As for Linfield Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

Woodcrest Christian will head out on the road to challenge Aquinas at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodcrest Christian is facing Aquinas at the right time seeing as Aquinas is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Linfield Christian, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Linfield Christian take on the San Jacinto at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
