Baseball Recap: Unity Gets the Win

Unity's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cameron Comets a 4-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Comets back in April, they had to take a 10-2 loss.

The team relied heavily on Uriah Fugate, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Unity's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Cameron, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Coming up, Unity will venture away from home to face off against Grantsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cameron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
