Soccer Recap: Forest Lake Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forest Lake Christian). They were the clear victors by an 8-3 margin over the Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves on Thursday. It was an even better day for Brendan Hooper as he scored three goals for his team.

The victory (which was Forest Lake Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three games. As for Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Forest Lake Christian will challenge rival Encina at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning is set to take on their familiar foe Futures at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
