Football Recap: Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy Takes a Loss

Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy lost against Hayden back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy took a blow against Hayden, falling 48-7. While losing is never fun, Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Hayden is ranked 15th).

Garrett Metcalfe threw for 112 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Kaden Baker was his top target, picking up 83 receiving yards. On the ground, Amos Brakenhoff rushed for 128 yards.

Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hayden, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy will square off against Hiawatha at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hayden, they will challenge Jefferson West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
