Central York came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 40-24 win over the Ephrata Mountaineers. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Mountaineers are ranked 218th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central York pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Ephrata, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7.
