Basketball Recap: Windsor Takes a Loss

Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 45-37 to the Eureka Loggers. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 506th, while the Loggers are ranked 63rd).

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Eureka, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Windsor Jaguars duke it out with the Rancho Cotate Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eureka, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fortuna at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eureka is facing Fortuna at the right time seeing as Fortuna is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
