Baseball Recap: Vidalia Heritage Academy Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Vidalia Heritage Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Flint River Academy Wildcats on Friday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Luke Moxley, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. He has become a key player for Vidalia Heritage Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 11-13 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Pearson O'Neal, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Vidalia Heritage Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 4-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Vidalia Heritage Academy now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Flint River Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-4.

As of now, neither Vidalia Heritage Academy nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
