Softball Recap: Calhoun Gets the Win + How To Watch

Calhoun let Gilmer stack four runs on them in the seventh inning on Monday but luckily Calhoun prevailed anyway. The Yellow Jackets had just enough and edged out the Bobcats 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won four in a row.

Maggy Abernathy was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Breanna Baker was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Calhoun's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Gilmer, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-6.
