Baseball Recap: Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles vs. Whiting Oilers

Lake Station Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 13-0 walloping at the hands of the Whiting Oilers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lake Station Edison of the 16-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Lake Station Edison saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Rowan, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base.

River Forest will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Whiting surely won't give up without a fight.
