Basketball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 52-36 to the El Camino Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-42 back in January.

Calista Wold continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for El Camino, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 15 boards. Wold is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Maraia Rokosiga, who posted eight points and six boards.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for El Camino, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-12.

As of now, neither Woodland nor El Camino have any future games scheduled.
