Softball Recap: Macarthur Falls to Altus in First Game of Season

MacArthur unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 11-1 to the Altus Bulldogs on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Altus' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against McLoud on the 14th. Altus has also already played their next contest (against Maysville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
