Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foothill Tech). They breezed by the Bishop Diego Cardinals to the tune of 58-28 on Tuesday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Dragons had established a 23 point advantage.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaymi Coronado, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeisa Coronado, who had eight points.

The win made it two in a row for Foothill Tech and bumps their season record up to 6-10. As for Bishop Diego, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Foothill Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-42 loss against St. Bonaventure on the 16th. Bishop Diego has also already played their next contest, a 49-30 victory against Thacher on the 16th.
