Stuart's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's seventh consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Tupelo Tigers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Stuart's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Tupelo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
