It was a good run, but Cass unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cedartown Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Colonels haven't been shut out since back in February.

Cass' loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Cedartown, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cass will head out to face off against Allatoona at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Cass' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cedartown, they are taking a road trip to take on Dalton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedartown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
