Ferndale is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Shade 66-50 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellow Jackets.

Ferndale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Deajah Chatman led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Abby Barley was another key player, putting up 15 points along with six boards and four steals.

Ferndale smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 15 consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Turkeyfoot Valley Area unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 70-35 loss at the hands of Blacklick Valley. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-17.

Ferndale is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
