Basketball Recap: The City School Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Masterman, The City School was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 41-32 victory over Kohelet Yeshiva. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-30 last Monday.

Kohelet Yeshiva's loss came despite strong showings from Meytal Benjamini and Rivka Levitt. Benjamini posted 11 points, while Levitt put up 11 points.

The City School's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Kohelet Yeshiva, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

The City School will be playing at home against Sankofa Freedom Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The City School is facing Sankofa Freedom Academy at the right time seeing as Sankofa Freedom Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Kohelet Yeshiva, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Barrack Hebrew Academy at 9:00 p.m. on February 8th.
