Baseball Recap: Stafford Takes a Loss

Stafford fell victim to Riverbend and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Riverbend, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Stafford will head out to face off against Colonial Forge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverbend does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
