Football Recap: Hot Springs Tigers vs. Tularosa Wildcats
Hot Springs took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tularosa Wildcats with a sharp 26-6 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.
Hot Springs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristan Polanco, who picked up 76 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one rushing score. Polanco was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 57 yards. Billy Baca also helped out with an impressive 95 receiving yards.
