Softball Recap: Earlsboro Takes a Loss

After flying high against Maud on Thursday, Earlsboro came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell just short of the Stonewall Longhorns by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Earlsboro has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-10 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Stonewall, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

Earlsboro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-5 win against Wynnewood on the 19th. As for Stonewall, they have also already played their next game, a 9-3 loss against Asher on the 20th.
