Soccer Game Preview: High Tech SD vs. Madison

The High Tech SD Storm will take on the Madison Warhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. High Tech SD will be strutting in after a victory while Madison will be coming in after a loss.

If Madison heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when High Tech SD took over last week. High Tech SD sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Kearny on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Storm have won by just one goal.

Sadie Gabriel and Sydney Carreras scored both of High Tech SD's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Madison's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Mira Mesa, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warhawks in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for High Tech SD, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10-1.
