Volleyball Game Preview: Twin Loup Wolves vs. Elm Creek Buffaloes

The Twin Loup Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Elm Creek Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Loup is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Twin Loup came up short against Sandhills Valley and fell 2-0.

Twin Loup was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Elm Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Ravenna on Thursday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Elm Creek sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 17-25, 25-22.

Twin Loup's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Elm Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Twin Loup was able to grind out a solid win over Elm Creek when the teams last played back in October of 2023, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
