Soccer Recap: Elk Grove Takes a Loss

Elk Grove lost against Monterey Trail back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Elk Grove Thundering Herd took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monterey Trail Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Thundering Herd have lost by exactly two goals.

Elk Grove dropped their record down to 1-13-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Monterey Trail, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9-4.

Elk Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monterey Trail, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rio Linda at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
