Basketball Recap: Village Christian Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Village Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burroughs Bears.

Village Christian's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Burroughs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Village Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burroughs, they will face off against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pioneer comes in on six and Burroughs on seven.
