Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Gets the Win

Roosevelt's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They won by a goal and slipped past the Temecula Valley Golden Bears 2-1.

Ireland Churchill was the driving force of Roosevelt's attack as she scored both of Roosevelt's goals, bringing her season total up to 15 goals.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Temecula Valley, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Roosevelt and King will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. Temecula Valley will take on Huntington Beach in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
