Soccer Recap: West Fork Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fort Dodge on Tuesday, West Fork came back down to earth. The Warhawks fell just short of the Des Moines North Polar Bears by a score of 3-2 on Friday. West Fork were not able to make up for their defeat to Des Moines North from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

West Fork now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for Des Moines North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

West Fork wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Marshalltown on the 29th. As for Des Moines North, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Northwood-Kensett on the 25th.
