Basketball Recap: William Tennent Takes a Loss

William Tennent won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They had to suffer through a 68-35 loss at the hands of the Cheltenham Panthers. While losing is never fun, William Tennent can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Cheltenham is ranked 45th).

William Tennent's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Cheltenham, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

William Tennent wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-38 victory against Springfield Township on the 28th. As for Cheltenham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-49 win against Abington on the 25th.
