After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Grant finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast Spartans. The Generals' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Southeast, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 17-3.
