Soccer Game Preview: Bonita Vista vs. Olympian

The Bonita Vista Barons will head out on the road to challenge the Olympian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bonita Vista is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Bonita Vista will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals back in December of 2024, then bounced right back against Granite Hills on Friday. Bonita Vista blew past Granite Hills 7-3. It was an even better day for Alena Ramirez as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Olympian was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell just short of Valhalla by a score of 2-1.

Olympian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season. As for Bonita Vista, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Bonita Vista was able to grind out a solid win over Olympian in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bonita Vista since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
