Baseball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Lagrange

LaGrange won against Sandy Creek last Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. LaGrange never let Sandy Creek get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Grangers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won nine in a row.

LaGrange pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Sandy Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaGrange will venture away from home to square off against Troup County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Troup County will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something LaGrange surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sandy Creek, they will head out to face off against Mary Persons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mary Persons has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.13 runs per game on average), something Sandy Creek will no doubt try to take advantage of.
