Basketball Recap: Rise Kohyang Comes Up Short

Rise Kohyang was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the East College Prep Spartans, falling 46-20.

Rise Kohyang's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for East College Prep, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.

Rise Kohyang and East College Prep's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Rise Kohyang will square off against Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a team that's only allowed 17.75 points per game. Both have allowed few points on average, (Rise Kohyang: 25.9, East College Prep: 26.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Similarly, East College Prep and Alliance Bloomfield (who has only given up 25.77 points per game) will meet at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
